Six years ago in McAllen, Texas, I bore witness with other pastors to hidden detainment facilities w/ armed guards, families split apart, children shipped w/o oversight or their parents around the country & back across the border, and dehumanization as set governmental practice. It’s coming again.

If your heart is for the outcast, the survivor, the lonely & rejected, the displaced & refugee, the poor & oppressed, those at the margins, the demonized & dehumanized, the sinner & struggler, do not be surprised if you find yourself viewed with suspicion by those in power.
