Now that YouTube showed me the same video, I think 7-10 are pretty reasonable but the top 6 are so much shakier.

But I'd have trouble making a top 10 list fill 20 minutes, so I don't have much room to talk.

It still refuses to grapple with the biggest underlying assumption: the purpose of attending Yale is to learn things. That's fundamentally not true. You go to Yale for networking and prestige. That neatly explains their behavior and most of their reasoning.

It's still worth less than the hay penny when it was discontinued. So is the nickel.

Why? They are still legal tender for as long as the US exists, they are made in such quantities that they'll never be collectors items, and it's still illegal to melt them for their copper and zinc.

It's a ludicrous claim that they have no ability to enforce but it isn't a matter that was resolved in the treaty.

And, as of 2385, the Federation officially recognized that claim on their star charts (womp womp, Bajorans) with a clarifying note that it may be outdated.

Warp 4 is ~100× the speed of light. I'm pretty sure Bajor had warp travel for around 8 centuries. Empok Nor would be a week round trip at those speeds.

The better question is why no scavengers stripped it. And that answer is simple: Cardassia maintained their territorial claims on Trivas.

The thugs who carried out the orders.

I interpreted "every criminal in the regime" to refer to the DHS/ICE people who did the really fucked up stuff like zip tying toddlers in their underwear and dragging them outside.

QI wouldn't apply to the person giving orders at the cabinet level, though I suspect they'd have absolute immunity.

If you added 5 years to each so that both were in university, I don't see an automatic problem if they're in different departments.

I remember when I taught at university, the rules required disclosing to department head and not being in any evaluative or advisory capacity. That seemed reasonable?

I mean, it doesn't take a genius to notice that his suggestion is going to be support deregulation and oppose Keynesian boosting, no matter how many times both suggestions are bad both politically and in terms of results.

You can get his position by asking any Republican what they think.

In between defending genocide, criticizing Biden for being too much of a leftist, and writing Project 2029, he apparently still teaches a couple classes at Harvard.
November 17, 2025 at 6:35 AM
He was forced out of Harvard back in 2006 over his misogyny, poor management, firing Cornell West, and connections to Epstein. It's disgraceful the school ever allowed him back on campus.

If you were to look at a list of people with the most damaging advice to the Democratic party and American people through that advice being adopted in my lifetime, he'd be near the top.

It would be better for the party to embrace Trump as an economic advisor with little difference in misogyny.

Democrats made a public showing of being unable to pronounce Mamdani—a name that most kindergarteners could sound out phonetically—for months.

Grijalva didn't stand a chance of being the good guy.

It's fine to call it debanking, IMO. You have been targeted by financial institutions out of fear of reputational harm instead of based on your individual actions or a sincere risk assessment.

It's either that or retaliation for your journalism. Both are close enough to textbook debanking.
November 17, 2025 at 1:45 AM
Honestly, a lot of problems in this country could be fixed by tearing down Harvard and Yale. The fact that they're lousy with Epstein associates are the least of their crimes.
November 17, 2025 at 1:32 AM
The Hague Invasion Act means that will never happen. There is no higher body to appeal to for the American government being shitty. If you want these people to face justice, we must fix our own system.

And what are those estimates for non-white people? Do they perform as well among people who are experiencing distress like chronic hunger? Is this actually a problem in the first place, or is it just racism?

Maybe your congressional representative can help? It's a long shot but if you're in a gerrymandered blue district, maybe you'll have a representative willing to stand up for a journalist and sex worker against religious nutters and banks?

I wish there was a better answer.
