So, update:
my honors thesis was approved so I'm going to be doing research for the next 3 semesters.
We did a game jam in the game design club - wasn't able to participate because finals (working on a game for one though), but I'm happy I now have experience running a game jam

Also, I've been doing a lot of work on my planner program project recently, and I've got a few games I've been/am working on. Just trying to get better at patience (and balance my workload) as I suck at that.

Trying to update my portfolio - admittedly, should have done this way sooner - and I'm going through a previous project I did some writing and programming for as part of my college's game design club, and I keep marveling at it.

There's a sequence of events that's led to me in my room writing an annotated bibliography while listening to the song "I'm too sexy" -- a song I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of -- on loop at this time of night.

Spring breaks coming to an end. Here's what I've accomplished

part of the fun of reading imo is not just in the act of it or the experience, but in the discussion -- the conversation w other readers, and so much of that is fueled by considering intent and choice on the part of the writer, and whether their choices were successful. AI takes that shit fully away

I know I’m not the best writer, but I don’t know who I would be if all my writing was, was from a chat bot. Even if it were solely the ideas I got from one, I don’t know how I could look at my work — even if it were 1000 times better than my current work — with any form of joy.
