Feels like they'd have been better off diving straight into it without blatantly addressing the casting change, like recastings usually happen. Just let Hemsworth be the character; establish it through the story, not a weak summary exposition where he recreates past material.

A lot of reenacting previous scenes, including from the end of S3. Most are unnecessary; I get what they're trying to do with others, but the result is starting with immediate, side-by-side comparison material between Cavill & Hemsworth when it's already a touchy subject with fans...

*let me be clear, I’m still devastated it's not Henry Cavill (because he IS Geralt) but that’s not Hemsworth’s fault. He didn’t deserve all the backlash directed at him. I don’t envy his position, trying to fill such big shoes. I’ve seen some positive reviews, so I'm going to give it a chance.
