(4/X) They're not that strategic. They just start doing stuff they think will scare you (like canceling all the flights, cutting SNAP etc.). You have to just keep escalating, or at least let them keep stepping on their own dick. Don't give them an easy out .

In fairness, I didn't really know how narcissistic sociopaths operate...they escalate, thinking you'll back down. And they often escalate in ways that don't make sense
