I don't want to “improve my rizz,” I want to be a scribe in an Irish monastery in 950 AD. I’m hunched over a manuscript, painstakingly retracing the letters. Pangur Bán, the abbot’s cat, brushes against my leg. I doodle her image in the margin. I’ve never heard of the internet. I’m happy.

This raita recipe calls for one (1) small clove of garlic. That is an illegal amount of garlic (I mean really, why even bother if you’re not going to use enough to even taste it) and I shall be adding garlic as I see fit.

This yarn-bombed bench in Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens was created by Mercedes Richardson in tribute to her late mother, Rita McGurn, known locally for her crochet sculptures. The bench has been covered with knitted and crochet stitchwork; some of which were of Mercedes' late mother's work. #FolkArt
