Is 11 scones in two days too many scones? Asking for a… ah, fuck it. It’s too late.

All of the scones are gone and I’ve only eaten scones for almost 24 hours.

Are you a vegetarian who disdains clothes? St Onufrius (d 400),desiring to follow the example of John the Baptist, lived as a hermit in Upper Egypt, subsisting on dates & palms that grew near his cell. Clothed only "in his own abundant hair, & a loin-cloth of leaves" he became patron saint of weavers.

I don't want to “improve my rizz,” I want to be a scribe in an Irish monastery in 950 AD. I’m hunched over a manuscript, painstakingly retracing the letters. Pangur Bán, the abbot’s cat, brushes against my leg. I doodle her image in the margin. I’ve never heard of the internet. I’m happy.

This raita recipe calls for one (1) small clove of garlic. That is an illegal amount of garlic (I mean really, why even bother if you’re not going to use enough to even taste it) and I shall be adding garlic as I see fit.

I’m in love with this
This yarn-bombed bench in Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens was created by Mercedes Richardson in tribute to her late mother, Rita McGurn, known locally for her crochet sculptures. The bench has been covered with knitted and crochet stitchwork; some of which were of Mercedes' late mother's work. #FolkArt

my child: I’m supposed to write a paper, as if I’m a lawyer, defending the Viking conquest, but pffft it’s indefensible?? wtf?

me, cracking my knuckles, putting on my evil hat: first off, was it a conquest or was it a liberation? Do you think English kings were GOOD people? Who DESERVED the throne?
