in regards to this, i think 100% of games would just be straight up better by diminishing or totally removing these elements. they are an insidious but expected part of modern game design

This little guy is from Moss 2. He’s based on a dung beetle. He pushes his rolling cannon around, mounts, and fires it.
I’d animate the bug itself moving. But the way the cannon reacts is nearly 100% generated using my spatial tools. Primarily the physics and aim tools. He was so easy to animate!

When I find something I’ve not seen anywhere else I look for it when I’m there again, I found these Stereum last year (first 2 photos), couldn’t believe the shades of teal/magenta. Stopped by yesterday, there they were again😍 (second two photos). No color enhancement.
