"I'm a troublemaker and I've always been a troublemaker. And I ask you to become a troublemaker, to not accept what's being done to our country, to always stand up for what's right."

Keep making good trouble @johnleguizamo.bsky.social, and thank you for being our Freedom Award honoree this year!

Thank you to all of the volunteers and our coalition partners that distributed postcards to their friends and neighbors up and down New York State.

Today we dropped 2000+ postcards to @governor.ny.gov’s office, each signed by a New Yorker who cares about protecting reproductive freedom and gender-affirming care in our state.

We're in court today to ensure the Trump admin cannot re-detain or deport our client, Mahmoud Khalil, as punishment for his protected speech.

Ideas are not illegal. No administration should be able to weaponize immigration law or unilaterally incarcerate people for sharing opinions they don't like.

From Buffalo to New York City and all over the state, we took to the streets today to reject the Trump administration’s abuses of power. #NoKings

We're suing the city of Elmira over its unlawful zoning ordinance that blocked the construction of an affordable, supportive housing development for people with disabilities.

Every New Yorker deserves a safe and affordable place to live, and people with disabilities are no exception.

We're challenging the Massapequa School District’s policy preventing trans students from using restrooms and locker rooms aligned with their gender identity.

All students have a right to safe, inclusive learning environments, and trans students are no different.
