Sweet Lands next. Apparently this is the hotness and hard to find. I’ll be honest, at one time I was a pretty heavy gamer but this one had me befuddled. Beautiful components though!

They don’t make them like this anymore. Danzig III How the Gods Kill. Did it up because my friend is moving on from the cafe! He’s starting buying CDs for some reason and he loves the title track (which I introduced him to) so it’ll make a nice going away present.

Reread Spock Must Die! By James Blish. Can see why 10yo me liked it. The Klingons get grounded for a thousand years at the end of it by the Organians so not exactly canon. Though they would be nearly free by the time of later seasons of Discovery. Missing the author’s note! Page IX doesn’t exist.

Found some treasures up in my garage loft today. Ayush saw a corrosion of confomity shirt at the concert that he liked and I told him I once drew that logo on an old cassette I had. Found it! And a beat up copy of Spock Must Die.

Tried to take a video of Backbone which is the best song but after a minute I realized I wasn’t on video mode so here is a single still. It’s ok I prefer just watching concerts to filming them. Did get some video of The Axe right up until the lyric “wield against these shadows”. Which is my tattoo!

Try Headstones’ acoustic album from a few years back. Canadian legends that maybe aren’t as well known elsewhere. Very company friendly I have a few tracks on our cafe playlist.

This is how far I got bricking together the 2014 Lego AT-AT. Just from my bulk! Pretty far! Need a couple pieces now that maybe I will acquire on Monday.

My dog Ahsoka turned 5 this week! She’s pretty chill now. The puppy stage was something else that’s for sure.

Thought I had a bad sleep last night so I checked my heart rate to see and it was all over the place so that seemed to confirm but then I noticed the range was between 35 and 58. I might actually be dead! This a funny joke but when I do actually drop dead it won’t be so funny …

My heart rate- sleeping is 40 beeps. Which is what it’s always at when I’m in good shape. So that’s encouraging- even though I know it’s also dangerous. Can lead to blood clots! Which can lead to stroke😩 but it’s 100% correlated with my fitness so. Maybe ultrasound will give some indication insight.

Surprised myself with a 5km run this morning. Was aiming for 4 but the loop I did was like 4.4 kms so I just kept running. Not a speed record for sure I think a few years ago I could do it 27 and a half minutes but that was when I was a young kid in my 40s!

On my birthday I like to go to the Lego store to redeem my points and get myself something. Had about $73 (CAN) and was torn between this and the new U-Wing which were the same price. piece count won out. I’ll build this and then likely take it apart for pieces. I do want those Andor minifigs tho!

Here’s me about 3 years ago. Not as buff any more but my checkup
today with the doctor convinced me to get back on that horse. Blood sugar climbing back up to that not quite dangerous level. I’ll be 51 on Thursday so you know. Not too bad. I’ll keep you posted!
