I completely agree with you, and most Americans do. However, it shows how separated our education system is in this country. States who raise up education succeed. States who dont, rely on the federal government assistance. Hence Texas.

Not all states in America have the same insurance rates. It's the state health department who decides what vaccines insurance must pay for, especially for children. Most states require children to be insured even if the state must pay for it.

They want people to not vaccinate their kids that's why insurance doesn't have to pay, in Texas. But anywhere else in the US this would be pretty much free. But what's $1400 to save your child's life?
