So he campaigned on treating people worse than animals? If this is what he campaigned on, then his voters have no humanity. Pure evil.

All it takes is a half dozen or so of brave Republicans in the House and 3 in the Senate and we could end this nightmare today. Imagine laying on your deathbed knowing you could've done something and didn't b/c you wanted to be on Fox News, attend parties at Mar A Lago and get reelected. Shameful.

You’re only half right. You’re right about your description of Trump, but he didn’t write the playbook.

EVERYTHING the oligarchs are doing is an attempt to return us to the Gilded Age, when wealth was concentrated in just a few hands.

I did read the other articles about UAB previously and appreciate the coverage. I forgot the headline of this particular article mentioned UA; I apologize for saying UAB should have been mentioned earlier, but UAB is mentioned in this article, and the "at" is missing. I'm sure it was an oversight.

UAB (The University of Alabama at Birmingham) is the economic engine of the state, so mentioning it first kind of makes sense. Getting the name right also isn't that difficult. I know the world is going to pot, but it's not too much to ask.

UAB is the state's largest employer and economic engine, but yeah, it would hurt UA as well. And it will hurt all those in the state, not just the people the administration hates.

It's UAB that's the state's economic engine and largest employer, and our Senators have doubled down that they support the administration's "efficiency" decisions, so they've made it clear that they don't care about the survival of the state they represent.

The research doesn’t happen if you can’t pay the light bill. The staff can’t work well if you can’t get them the equipment they need. Nothing gets accomplished without the office space to accomplish it.

Indirect costs directly impact the ability to get the job done. So frustrating.
