Without a doubt we’re all stocked up on confirmation bias in this area - we have a lot of superstitions in healthcare that have no anchor to reality. We have words you’re not supposed to say. We blame which doctors are on call for how busy it is… endless BS. And I love it. Haha

It actually sounds like a fun data project. I wonder if I could track the number and types of trauma activations during a full moon and compare with number and types of trauma activations during other lunar phases

I really wanted to support traditional publications, but I find I’m getting higher quality journalism from independent journalists and outlets @sarahkendzior.bsky.social and @davidsirota.com. Among others.
