It's a start. Waitrose do a very nice cave aged goats cheese. Manchego is goats cheese so will be similar.

I love cheese but don't have anything blue. Manchego or any hard goats cheese is a nice place to start. I had a triple cream brie from Lidl and that was great, more cream than cheese.

Venice is amazing. Genoa is also wonderful, the Via de Garibaldi is something else, also has the best ice cream shop I've been to.

Old Pulteney is worth a try I reckon, not as full on as Laphroaig but very nice. As others have said though, MaCallan is wonderful.
