Community worker, CEO of Nundah Co-op - a social enterprise creating dignified work for staff with disabilities and refugees.Cochlear implantee and border collie lover!
Got my hands dirty today with our garden team who maintain social housing properties. There’s a very nice tenant, who is always kind to our staff with disabilities and from refugee backgrounds - so I thanked her. She said: ‘we are all just a link in the chain’. My full dose of wisdom for the day.

I didn’t think I’d be involved in writing a book this year!

Thanks to my six other book writing buddies and community work and Zen teachers, who have taught me how to uncover hope & build community.

A great Chrissy present.

Mind blown - I never knew there was a fourth monkey. 1) see no evil 🙈 2) hear no evil 🙉 3) speak no evil 🙊 and 4) do no evil.

Along with doing good, a lifelong practice.

Is Silver and Gold by Neil Young a great album- or is it just a great album? I just love it.

We have had this interview abour our worker co-op kindly published by the UN ILO in this international year of cooperatives. It’s a powerful story of people gaining power and control over their lives through building community and engaging in cooperation.

‘Each coral branch reflects the moon’.

I never found this Koan easy to connect with, but when you see 400 years of branching coral growth up close, in all its diversity, it’s pretty clear - we are all the moon.
