Some simple digital sketches of Haleth from the Silmarillion. There's a portrait drawing and a few sketches of her outfit and its details. She is a young woman with redish brown hair and pale skin. Haleth is wearing a european iron age -style fantasy outfit. There is also a drawing of a brown horse with a dark upright mane that resembles Przewalski's horses and the Lascaux cave paintings of horses. It has some faint blurry stripes on its neck and legs.

Haleth from the Silmarillion

Behind Haleth is a landscape mostly covered by fog, but some forests and mountaintops can be seen above it. The sky is filled completely by large clouds.

A silmaril
At first I tried to make the silmaril design more colorful and more "realistic" but then I realized that simpler is better in this case. Couldn't decide on which background color was better, so I included both. #silmarillion #tolkien #silmarillionart #digitaldrawing

Saimaa ringed seal
I posted an earlier version of this drawing some time ago but I deleted it the next day because I saw that it was quite bad. I usually never post art immediately after finishing it and now I remember why. Anyway here's the better version of the painting

I finally managed to finish some new art for a change. Here's Melian.

A hand reaches out from a shadowy pit in the ground in this semirealistic digital painting. Above them, on the surface is a lush garden and in the distance you can see pine trees lit by the golden light of the sun. The plants look mostly normal apart from the strange trees that sprout from the hand and the bones underground. These trees and bones are only visible from this angle. If you were out in the garden, you could only see the plants and bushes that cover up the strange trees, unless you went out of your way to look down into this dark pit that the hand reaches out from.

spooky scary skeleton sketches from a few years ago

There are two quick sketches of probably a bit anatomically inaccurate skeletons drawn with white on a black background. The skeleton on the left has lost its skull, which lies on the ground right next to it. The skeleton is standing with its arms spread in surprise, and there are exclamation marks drawn right next to where its head would be. The other skeleton is holding its hand up to its mouth, and it has as much of a happy expression as a skeleton can have. It being offered a small flower by another skeleton, which is out of frame. Only its hand offering the flower is visible.
