I’m a knitter and web designer, and I learned Swift so I could make a ruler and row counting app for my projects. It’s called Fiber Friend and I’m proud of it 🥰 fiberfriend.app
Fiber Friend: Ruler & Row Counter for Knitting and Crochet
Fiber Friend is a free iOS ruler and row counter for knitters and crocheters. Paid users can track multiple projects from their phone or watch.

wrt Democratic Party reputation, is there anyone attempting to measure the effects of duress voting? As in, "the democratic party sucks but they're better than the alternative"?

I'll celebrate its arrival, but for now I'm waiting on the email MagCloud supposedly sent to activate my account.

While we're here, the link to the book on klophoto.com/about.php seems to point to a domain that's, uh, not the same anymore, which was why I asked.

I like how Shopify (and some others) do it, generally all I need to type are the numbers and first few letters of my street and their autocomplete is primed to fill out the rest. Probably not as good for people who live on Second St though.

like, this is transparently the inverse play of "save the children"—"protecting" a beloved group that can't speak for themselves and creating a bogeyman out of a group that most voters don't have any direct exposure to (and can be made to fear) both cross the aisle pretty easily 😑

3.08 years to global infection, eh? Seems accurate enough based on the other viruses we've had lately

In my first 30 years I moved 40 times, did I really live at any of those places? Do the earlier ones count more since they were a bigger percentage of my life? Does anything really matter? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great question, but I don't see how it could be any other way or it would be possible to transmit information FTL by constructing a binary code (of resolved vs not particles) at an agreed-upon time.

my understanding is you can't see the result of the coin flip (or know that it's been flipped) without causing observation effects yourself, so the timing of the other party's observation can't be clocked

I think a big part of it is designing for beauty vs. designing for use. Let's go to Cupertino when you're in town and you can ghostwrite a screed for me 😂
