Went to an AA meeting today with my husband. 6 months today. I'm so proud of his work to remain sober. He saved our marriage when he saved himself.

I resigned from my position. I'm going to Gateway to work at the desk.
Wednesday is our 22nd anniversary. I'm so happy we made it.
We haven't seen our monkey in 3 months. We're going to try to get grandparents' rights.

Things have changed a lot since he went to rehab. Evidently, he loves to feed me strawberries now. It's much better than the alternative.

Serenity is hard sometimes. Courage even harder. I can do something legally about my grandchild, but do I have the strength after the fight for his son. I'm not sure I want to do that to another child.

It's kind of weird how my husband's sobriety journey has also become mine. For the first time in my adult life, I am completely sober. I've been off meth for 27 years. That was my downfall. No alcohol no thc no nicotine. Sober living ftw.
