The occasionally rational thoughts of a semi-deluded Newcastle United fan.
And just like that I have my closure (and it did indeed pour petrol on the fire for a lot of fans apparently).

We can move on, he said thank you and goodbye, it’s done. We have two new strikers and an exciting season ahead of us. #NUFC
Part of me wants to see Isak say something positive publically to end this whole thing on an upbeat note, but realistically that kind of closure isn’t going to happen (and more likely than not would put petrol on the fire).

Onwards and upwards, there’s a lot of positives to come 🖤🤍 #NUFC

You were idolised and adored by every generation of our brilliant fan base, legendary status.

You have shown your true colours and thrown it right back in the face of those same supporters.

Good riddance.

The big hope for me this coming season is to see some of the academy lads step up and take some opportunities. Feel like since Miley emerged and Anderson was sold most of the young homegrown talent simply hasn’t shone. Ideally we might see a couple breakthrough in cup games this year #NUFC

Still hopeful of a midfielder in. Not sure who or where from, but if one falls out of the sky I’ll take it. #NUFC

Dare I say it, if we get Wissa over the line and *maybe* sign another midfielder (I’m looking at you Kobbie Mainoo) we may have had a top 3 transfer window this summer? #NUFC

Me welcoming Wissa, who has left his club after going on strike and dropping a bombshell statement on Instagram, after kicking off about Isak leaving, who has left his club after going on strike and dropping a bombshell statement on Instagram. #NUFC

I haven’t won a bet since I got John Carver to be #NUFC manager at 30/1 odds - BUT I genuinely wouldn’t put it past our owners to do something bold today. Also wouldn’t be surprised if we did bot all. Basically what I’m trying to say is I’m crap at gambling and don’t know what’s going to happen.

If you genuinely, for one fraction of a moment, thought that Isak was going to be sent to train with the U21s for any length of time instead of selling him (or thought that that was a good idea for that matter) you are completely and utterly off your rocker and should seek professional support #NUFC

Bloody hell I see the bed wetting is as bad on here as it was on the dark side. Listen to some of the posts on here and you’d think we’re back in the Ashley dark ages prepping for a relegation scrap. 🙄 #NUFC

Okay had a couple hours to cool off, and I have to say it again. I keep seeing Liverpool fans saying Isak is not worth £150m. But in a market where they’ve spent £116 on Wirtz, I can categorically say that Isak is worth AT LEAST £35m more than whatever that guy is worth. #NUFC

Ugh, Carragher running around celebrating has just made sick in my mouth. I can’t wait until this week is over so I don’t have to hear Scousers speak about #NUFC for a while

Pope out Ramsdale in NOW. #NUFC

They always fucking do that to us, fucking always. #NUFC

Also, also, £116m has gotten Liverpool a player who? In 86 minutes has done the sum total of slapping Sandro Tonali. And they think £110m is a fair bid for the best striker in Europe. #NUFC

The good news is we’re better with 10 men than the supposed “best team in the country”. #NUFC

Anyone got any suggestions for therapists in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne area? Plz and thnks. #NUFC
Tonight is either going to be a great night or the final push I’ve needed to start therapy. #NUFC

These sky commenators are legitimately pissing me off more that anything these Scouse cunts could do. #NUFC

So Liverpool have tapped up our best striker and injured arguably our best CM. My head is on mars. #NUFC

Van Dijk could pull out a gun and shoot Elanga in the forehead and the ref would give us a yellow for diving. #NUFC
August 25, 2025 at 8:11 PM
VAR checked, player in red pushed the other one over so can’t be a foul. Why even bother showing up? Rigged as fuck. #NUFC
August 25, 2025 at 8:09 PM
“You can’t argue it is a red” - for read bro? I can, watch me. Let’s think of Van Dickhead nearly breaking Gordon’s nose last season with his elbow and it DIDNT EVEN GET LOOKED AT. VAR for thee but not for me. #NUFC
August 25, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Gravenberch with a leg breaker on Bruno gets a yellow and the commentary thinks it’s harsh. Gordon barely touches one of theirs and it’s “worse every time you watch it”. Premier league, corrupt as fuck. #NUFC

All fight gone after 30 minutes. Jesus wept what can Eddie do at half time to sort this out? #NUFC
