Your definition of "inactive" comes down to semantics, as lurking could be considered "consciously inactive" and how an individual defines the term versus a community is moot. All I see is that you admit to at least breaking further ToS and just giving them more reason/cause to enforce their rules.🤷

Inactivity bans are a commonplace in many servers, as well. Their response is perfectly valid, logical, and (quite frankly) a rather professional response when faced with someone who also broke another ToS rule just to ask why instead of an "oh well" and carrying on...
