Google knows where I am and where a local airport is.

No-one in the English Midlands is ever going to fly to Pimlico when a train, a coach, a car is quicker, and cheaper.

Over time words can flip their meaning.

Egregious can mean:

outstandingly bad, or remarkably good (ok that's flagged as archaic but that's just an arbitrary judgment, words never die).
