Is it such a bad thing to care about human interaction and to keep human interactions human? Not everything needs to be frictionless

Why is everyone convinced that they will build this as opposed to this being a Trump real estate scam/ corruption scheme?

What the Toronto real estate market does to a man.

This needs to be the next ad that plays during the World Series.

Torn between an opportunity to make some blame stick to Ford vs thinking this would happen anyway. Also not sure if no deal/status-quo is better than ending uncertainty (if that's even possible).

While still bad for context this is in 1972 which comes after 1970 and 1971.

Hindenburg was very much not a liberal. If you want to compare him to contemporary American political figures he is closer to Mitch McConnell or Dick Cheney.

What metrics? Look at his stats over the last few seasons. Of course he is still great, but he is not on a historic statistical pace post-Tyreek Hill

They also don't know that it will "only" be 16 rockets. If the payload capacity of the later versions doesn't hit his 100+ ton target or if orbital refuelling is less efficient than expected (boiloff of fuel is a huge issue), then they are even more fucked.

Yes, just meant I would put supervolcanoes ahead of asteroids. Biowarfare too.
September 19, 2025 at 1:28 AM
What are the odds that we would miss a planet-killer sized asteroid before we could take any mitigating action? Wouldn't a supervolcano rank higher because there is nothing you could do to stop it?

What does GDP have to do with turn to authoritarianism? This is a special kind of American/Western arrogance. The truth is you are no better than the rest of the world and the slide to authoritarianism has been much faster un Trump II than in India or many other low GDP examples.

What happens when you cannot prey on Tom Brady's insecurities to drive down spending. This also reinforces to me that the narrative that they had stretched themselves so much cap wise in 2019-20, needing a reset, makes no sense. That was all poor drafting and unwillingness to spend money.

I was surprised to learn that the Harold Washington Library was built as late as the 1990s in this style. Is there anything like this (large brick structure) being built in Toronto recently? Or have we lost the ability to build such things anymore?

Probably a balloon?

If you are in Port Elgin, perhaps you can talk about the fact that Bruce Power is leaning towards buying the American AP1000 reactor over CANDUs which would destroy unionized Canadian high-tech jobs and make us even more of a branch plant economy.
