No, that's not it. If it was just, "Hey can I ask you something?" *beat* *beat* "...I've forgotten" it would be totally fine. It's the framing. It's the forward lean with the wide eyes. It's the breaking of the 180 degree rule. They didn't need to move the camera between panels
