Great choices. PS, I meant to post this to the T&T feed but I seem to have posted to the T&T user! I tried again to post to the T&T feed but I don't understand how BlueSky works.

I don't think this is true. And I don't understand what this means: "Maybe you could recreate them with a non-diegetic adventure clock."

Thanks a lot for the opportunity!

My game Morningstar is a classic fantasy RPG inspired by Tunnels & Trolls, Wizardry and Might & Magic. It's easy to learn, offers lot's of freedom in character creation and development and boasts a scalable magic system!

I saw T&T as a young 'un, and dismissed it as "too silly." I returned to it in adulthood, and was smitten by its whimsy and simplicity. I have come to love it, warts and all - and it is a bit warty. But it is, to my mind, a work of genius.

It feels like the D&D I played as a kid than D&D does.

Hi JH/BJB, I'm a big fan of the Whartson Hall podcast, esp the T&T episodes. I wrote a few T&T/ M!M! adventures as a COVID-era hobby & one of them I incl. a few elements inspired by the WH Aethernauts. I'd love to send you a copy (DM me pls). <I tried to msg you but this doesn't seem to be enabled>

Part of that is certainly a desire for simpler rules these days.

I made this meme, featuring real quotes about T&T from (L to R): Greg Costikyan, Lew Pulsipher, and William W. Connors.

I love Tunnels & Trolls (and its sister game Monsters! Monsters!). So many great adventures (solo + GM) for this simple, elegant and *fun* game.
