A beautiful dog with a collar has been hanging around our house for the past couple days. I don’t think the dog is actually dangerous, but given it has snarled at me and others occasionally, and I think it’s (understandably) getting a bit desperate, I’m trying to find a solution.

It’s not like I have many followers yet, but if you like funny writing from a talented writer with a sense of humor who is also a deep thinker who has political opinions and a Catholic faith (but who didn’t vote for that man because he has morals), give my husband a follow!

Soooo my kid is in a clinical trial with the NIH (NIAID, if it matters), and they are providing medication that is literally life-saving. Anyone from these institutions want to weigh in on wtf we’re supposed to do if the worst happens with this new administration?

So I’m Nicole. I teach writing and literature at the college level. I have an immunocompromised and disabled daughter. Interested in public health, higher education, and any way we can make it through this crisis. Dedicated to protecting the vulnerable as best I can.
