I think I managed to give myself sciatica on the right side through slightly asymmetric bicycling habits that compensated for a 30yo injury to my left knee. This is now causing problems in my left arm because of how I sleep. haha.

I think the idea was that a single copyright holder is better able to enforce the license.

But for whatever it's worth, GCC and glibc no longer require it.

yes, the Google CLA in this context seems to function more like the kernel's DCO as opposed to (say) Canonical's CLA for its copyleft projects.

Helix is famously low-config for many uses, but it needed coaxing (a custom local language definition derived from its source code) to work with a certain well-known C codebase that uses hard tabs with width 8.
