Agree that main consideration seems to be convenience for contractor not users of the path.
Have also asked the question re. diversion routes for pedestrians ('easyish') & cyclists(less easy)....

Sounds as if we should dust off a few of our previous submissions to proposals there (just in case).

Seems the target is now "in the month of August" - nevertheless, it does seem a little rushed based on progress so far ?
