Here's what I found when I went to fill my bird feeder today 😳

Scaly-breasted munias seem to like my feeder and always show up in pairs or groups. I was confused as I read they are not native to North America, but apparently they were brought as pets but now live in the wild.

Somebody found some plums

Found his hiding spot. He hasn't used it since last year, thought he forgot about it.

I don't know what kind of butterfly this is, would love if someone can tell me. It was in Costa Rica.

Otis (desert/gopher tortoise) was interested in some timothy hay we have for my son's chinchillas today - not that he's even supposed to be in the house. I wasn't sure if the hay was ok for him so I took him back outside.
