PyFixest 0.29 is on PyPi!

- We have updated how small sample adjustments are computed. PyFixest inference matches fixest now 100%, out of the box and all of the time!
- We have added support for fully saturated event studies, which in turn enables @apoorvalal.com's DiD specification tests.

The US stands to lose $1,900 per capita yearly (more if countries retaliate) due to #TrumpTariffs. Canada & Mexico are the 2nd most affected countries. The EU & China are somewhere in the middle of the welfare losses distribution. See here 👉 citp.ac.uk/publications...

So the 25% #tariff on Canada and Mexico will start today. The closest experience we had to these tariffs are those imposed by Trump in 2018: largely discriminatory, possibly negotiable and hopefully temporary. I've looked the past experience to learn something @thecitp.bsky.social @uktpo.org
