So, about the new VALVe Hardware...
Front to back; the Apple Vision Pro, the Atari Jaguar Controller, and the NeXT NeXTCUBE; this is to lampoon the similarity of VALVe's recently-announced Steam Frame, Steam Controller, and Steam Machines' visual and principal similarities to said items.

Seeing my friend @jimbob42.bsky.social play Digimon Story: Time Stranger. I'm new to the Digimon series, so I'm intrigued, the game looks awesome, and then I see Kapurimon. It looks just like the silly drawings I usually do, so I decided to put the two and two together.
A hastily done, "poorly" made doodle of Kapurimon from the Digimon series donning a silly, cross-eyed smile. The linework is simplistic, circular, and cartoony in nature. The coloring is also incomplete (it overfills and underfills in certain areas). Above is a piece of text rendered in the Sun Gallant 12x22 font reading "kapuri.mon", poorly stretched across.

I've always hated Material Design, but this third version of it looks like shit and makes me legitimately want to get an iPhone just so I won't have to look at it for one second longer.
That or install a Custom ROM and only use third party apps; whichever gets me away from Material Design.

Steam had a pretty funny glitch just now, and I decided to recreate it.

In this example, I have chosen to draw my fursona in the traditional silly/"yukkuri" inspired style I usually draw myself in; as a toony hyena with a cross-eyed expression and a full-cheeked smile. The message is stylistically compliant with how UNDERTALE's text boxes look; the character portrait is monochromatic (black and white), and the typeface used is 8-Bit Operator JVE. The text itself reads... * UNDERTALE to me is up there with the likes of DOOM; it is proof that, to become a fixture of pop culture, you don't need big funding or company backing. You just need an idea.
