here are the correct paths: bsky.app/profile/nsou...
I should've posted the correct reading paths for any who are still (understandably) mystified by them. Here you go!

I’ll point out, the two jungle comics examples I shared, work just fine as blank compositions - it’s only the decisions of how to order them that make things completely unclear (we spent like five minutes in class trying to decipher the first one correctly…)

You can’t convince me that they think real humans talk like this…

I will say, students often have a surprisingly difficult time making an intentionally unclear layout. Try it - and share back!

It’s always super fun!

Oooh - these are cool! And if you want to help me find wonky layouts, I’d appreciate it - share away!!

Ha - awesome! I need to use these for class - thanks!

2/2 here are a few of the sample "bad" layouts they made today. Now they will try to solve them using characters breaking panels, word balloons, SFX, captions, any elements they can to try & make a clear reading path. Give it a try w/one of these or post your own unclear layout for others to try!

It’s critical that AI become part of global climate negotiations—not as an escape hatch for how it could save the planet, but as an urgent threat to people, wildlife, and the atmosphere, say Jean Su and John Fleming of @biologicaldiversity.org.
Behind AI Hype, Climate Consequences
AI’s massive energy use is giving fossil fuels a lifeline when they should be rapidly phased out in response to the climate emergency.

Of less consequential matters this night, my boy was drawing sea monsters after dinner so I decided to join him for a few minutes and continue my celebration of our own Naga…

Thank you! Excited to take it for a spin! (My comic shop didn’t have it - but the bookstore did, so it was good to spread our business around to both!)

I’d come to the bookstore to pick up this delightful little book by @kibblesmith.com & co! I expect kiddos and I will have a delightful time diving into it!
