Switched from iOS to Android and got hooked on customizing my screen with widgets. Function leads the way, but color and form make it alive.

WIDGET reimagines those shapes into posters, magazines, apps, and murals — a graphic language that’s fully contemporary, yet playful at its core.

Here is the iPhone Air. Something not even Gil Amelio would've thought about. From iPhone 11 to 12 they made all iPhones bulkier with sharp edges so Apple could come up with a thinner one and overprice it. Brilliant... Man, do I miss Jobs / Ive partnership...

I have a brand new series of posters airing on Instagram (:
It's a hand crafted variation of the "wonky mosaic" I did recently. This is the "making of", do visit and check the end result. www.instagram.com/nunosoares.d...

New Patterns Series explores the invisible loops that structure our everyday existence. Through geometric repetition and striking chromatic contrasts, the work questions the cycles we inhabit: wake, scroll, work, scroll again, sleep. Visual echo of digital urban routines defining contemporary life.

Ideal vacation for a graphic designer? Freedom to design and illustrate. Not on vacations but managing free time to work on my projects. Here's my most recent series. New mosaic, Run! and Existencial posters.

Some more new posters on my Instagram account. It's the Dystopian series.

Talking about sad movies? This is probably one of the saddest most beautiful movies I've ever seen. Strikingly beautiful, so well performed, amazing cast. Wow.

BTW, I watched The Straight Story yesterday. For some reason the movie always slipped from my lists. I loved it. WWII veterans talking about taking nazis down. Touching movie, l really loved it.

On my watch list too it's Stewart Brand's documentary. Kind of hard at this moment to find a way to watch it since it's unavailable in Europe on any streaming service. Not knowing who Stewart Brand is, same thing as not knowing how our digital web experience started.

Next movie in line is Stalker by Tarkovsky too. The Dark vibe plus time traveling is always on my mind.

A Complete Unknown. No words to describe the movie. Amazing for both Bob Dylan's and Joan Baez's fans (AH!AH!). Performances were amazing and Johnny Cash/ Boyd Holbrook was the cherry on the cake.

New music I've been listening to? The Shutov Assembly by Brian Eno. Most amazing music for vibing Digital Zen while meditating.

What's on my mind lately? Solaris, both Tarkovsky's and Soderbergh's. Love both movies, magnificent (retro) sci-fi.

Born from just 2K euros, Kino, an indie Gem by Pourya Pour, begins in color and chaos, then softens into a love letter to cinema — life around the projector, conversations after the credits. We couldn’t stop talking about it for days. Honorable Mention at www.maiaiff.com

Few films hit like Rhythm of Dammam. Jayan Cherian unearths the legacy of Portuguese slavery, tracing the Bantu to India’s Siddi roots — ending in raw power, real tears of joy, and the true spirit of a Black Panther. More at www.maiaiff.com

Author films, often reflecting a director’s personal vision. Algimantas Puipa — I had the pleasure of attending the “Night Screening” with him and applauding a truly mind-blowing experience. Movie opening for www.maiaiff.com

Yesterday went to see Robot T0 by Giulio Callegari and the movie was quite something. Funny, deep, not exaggerated and quite a call to what empathy means in a technological future. More movies at www.maiaiff.com Maia Film Festival.

Jacob's Ladder... You know when you skipped a movie that you always wanted to see but never managed to? I recall this one in the 80s, never had the chance to see it until this Sunday. Amazing acting by Tim Robbins, movie ending is a tear jerker. Loved it.

Shows we've been seeing lately... Tokyo Vice was quite something. Then we moved to The Man in the High Castle. Nelo The Shmuck must love the show, for sure. Anyways, the Fringe Multiverse vibe is something that will always interest me. (no typos version)

Cars still don't fly, but at least I've reached the time where R2D2 is possible. Nice idea. Here's Blue (:
