If an agency has its web design stuck in 2021, there you go, it's stuck in 2021. The pandemic needed more from us to prevent it. Anyways, it was an opportunity to improve. Those who didn't, they didn't. Close doors. Give room to new ones.

When it comes to SEO an agency can brag about having a gazillion certified badges but if the client only gets the second page there's nothing to brag about. As in the words of Steve, real artists ship.

Switched from iOS to Android and got hooked on customizing my screen with widgets. Function leads the way, but color and form make it alive.

WIDGET reimagines those shapes into posters, magazines, apps, and murals — a graphic language that’s fully contemporary, yet playful at its core.

Here is the iPhone Air. Something not even Gil Amelio would've thought about. From iPhone 11 to 12 they made all iPhones bulkier with sharp edges so Apple could come up with a thinner one and overprice it. Brilliant... Man, do I miss Jobs / Ive partnership...

I have a brand new series of posters airing on Instagram (:
It's a hand crafted variation of the "wonky mosaic" I did recently. This is the "making of", do visit and check the end result. www.instagram.com/nunosoares.d...

Right now in the studio we're in Pre-Rentrée mode. Means Rentrée is planned for later. I like the concept of making our own time for our own things. Still The Matrix Trainman concept. Yes.

New Patterns Series explores the invisible loops that structure our everyday existence. Through geometric repetition and striking chromatic contrasts, the work questions the cycles we inhabit: wake, scroll, work, scroll again, sleep. Visual echo of digital urban routines defining contemporary life.

Creative juice for the week: "I dream of things that never were and ask why not". George Bernard Shaw immortalized by Robert F. Kennedy

Thoughts for the day
"Rather be a Pirate than joining the navy."
This one is for Tim Cººk for being a sellout.
Something Steve jobs never was.

Ideal vacation for a graphic designer? Freedom to design and illustrate. Not on vacations but managing free time to work on my projects. Here's my most recent series. New mosaic, Run! and Existencial posters.

Talking about sad movies? This is probably one of the saddest most beautiful movies I've ever seen. Strikingly beautiful, so well performed, amazing cast. Wow.

BTW, I watched The Straight Story yesterday. For some reason the movie always slipped from my lists. I loved it. WWII veterans talking about taking nazis down. Touching movie, l really loved it.

On my watch list too it's Stewart Brand's documentary. Kind of hard at this moment to find a way to watch it since it's unavailable in Europe on any streaming service. Not knowing who Stewart Brand is, same thing as not knowing how our digital web experience started.

Next movie in line is Stalker by Tarkovsky too. The Dark vibe plus time traveling is always on my mind.

Sometimes I completely forget that I quit Twitter. I was there for about 14 years, tweeting almost every day - until it stopped feeling like a place where good people belonged...

About Joan Baez, I do think her work was quite something in the 70's so I organized this playlist. music.apple.com/pt/playlist/...

A Complete Unknown. No words to describe the movie. Amazing for both Bob Dylan's and Joan Baez's fans (AH!AH!). Performances were amazing and Johnny Cash/ Boyd Holbrook was the cherry on the cake.

New music I've been listening to? The Shutov Assembly by Brian Eno. Most amazing music for vibing Digital Zen while meditating.
