You do not need to be doing 150 different exercises as part of your training program/training block

Pick a select few exercises (centered around squat, lunge, hinge, push, pull, rotation) And work on progressive overload
February 21, 2025 at 12:19 PM
There is no need for advanced exercises if you have not mastered the fundamentals first!

Example: If you cannot stand on one leg correctly, we are NOT going to be doing one leg hurdle jumps | If you cannot squat properly, we are NOT going to be doing squat jumps

What you do outside the gym is just as important as what you do in the gym

One my personal training clients told me he is nearing 4 weeks sober

He feels less anxiety, a clearer head, sleeping better, etc….

Commitment. Consistency. Hard work

Combine those 3 ⬆️

And watch your results 📈📈📈

When the headline and the findings don’t add up

Reminder to stop fearing things based off headlines and READ the article

It’s not seed oils. Or food dyes. That are the problem. It’s the overconsumption of ultra processed foods that cause issues. Focus mostly on real whole foods

Just because someone with a six pack eats or works out a certain way, it does NOT mean you need to be doing the same exact thing to achieve those results

We are all different individuals that will respond differently to the foods we consume and the workouts we do

The majority of your nutrition should be coming from whole foods, lean proteins, complex carbs/fiber, healthy fats, fruits, veggies and water

Working out is only a piece of the puzzle when trying to reach your fitness goals

Your recovery needs to be on point…

• Proper nutrition for your goals
• Quality sleep
• Stress management
• Muscle recovery
• Staying hydrated (water)

This Taylor vs Serrano fight is insane. They are beating the sh*t out of each other 🩸
November 16, 2024 at 4:18 AM
So Jake Paul or Mike Tyson. Who you got? 🥊🥊🥊

Hands on knees or hands on head 🧵

Which is better for recovery ⬇️

Recovery after bouts of exercise can be accelerated by maximizing the zone of apposition

Hands on knees posture causes thoracic flexion + internal rotation of the rib cage, optimizing the zone of apposition (zoa) ✅

I demonstrate to my client the next exercise on our training program

He goes: “isn’t that too easy”

After he starts the exercise, he goes “never talking sh*t again”

🤣🤣🤣

There is no “one size fits all” approach when it comes to fitness or nutrition

Every individual responds differently to fitness and nutrition based on a variety of factors such as age, genetics, anatomy, goals, health conditions, etc.

What exercises can I do to lose weight?

Too many times we look for a magic fix. But the truth is, there isn’t one specific thing that leads to weight/fat loss. It is a combination of healthy lifestyle choices

Exercise. Nutrition. Rest. Stress Management. Recovery. Sleep. Water

And CONSISTENCY ‼️

There are 7 main movement patterns our body uses in the gym, sports and every day life:

• Squat
• Lunge
• Bend/Hinge
• Push (vertical/horizontal/diagonal)
• Pull (vertical/horizontal/diagonal)
• Rotation
• Gait (walking/running)

All exercise programs are derived from these 7 movement patterns

I was trying to figure out why all my gym joggers keep shrinking in the dryer & then I realized….

They aren’t shrinking. My legs are getting bigger LOL

Gym life 💪

If it doesn’t align with my vibes

It’s gonna be a no

The NUMBER ONE exercise to get a six pack is….

NUTRITION

It is not the “3 ab exercises” these influencers are telling you to do

If you want to see your abs. You need your body fat % lower

You do that via a calorie deficit, strength training & having a proper nutrition plan
February 14, 2024 at 4:07 AM
The number ONE reason people don’t see results is….

CONSISTENCY

They give up working out after 2 months after seeing minimal results

They give up their nutrition because they miss the foods they like

Results take YEARS. It is a LIFELONG process. Don’t stop. Keep going!
