Good morning! It's the last week of November and on Sunday it's gingerbread and julmust premiere in our house 😊 Julmust is a Swedish Christmas soda that more or less replaces Coke during the season.

Here's a sunset photo from Friday. The timestamp says 15:12.

Our current amount of snow. The sky was actually a bit darker, but I let the phone decide how to take the photo.

At 16:22 today, near Stockholm, Sweden. Now, 25 minutes later, it's completely dark.

I don't have the energy to try to be positive, so I won't. It's been a crap week and it's not getting better.

I can't even find photos I like in my photo library, so I'm not really in the mood to post anything. But here's a random forest photo from October for #ForestFriday anyway.
A sparse pine forest, slightly misty from rain. The ground is covered in green moss and low green shrubs, mostly blueberries and lingonberries. There are some brown ferns in the foreground.

Good morning! Here are some autumn colours among the beeches on the slope below Uppsala Castle. The wavy stair-like things are a waterfall fountain, turned off for the winter.

Last time I passed here I met a moose and decided to go in a different direction, so I have no idea where it goes.

A late autumn photo of some snowberry bushes. The leaves have fallen off but the small clusters of white berries are still there on the dark brown twigs. A couple of clusters are in focus in the foreground, all the rest are much further back and out of focus. The TV tower in Berlin, photographed in the evening from below. The weather is misty, so the round top is barely visible. The tower is lit from below, giving it a soft metallic sheen. The mist and the less than perfect quality of an iphone photo at dark in 2009 makes it almost look like a (digital) painting rather than a photo.

I'm in Uppsala today and thought I'd take a photo of the cathedral for #SteepleSaturday, but the weather wasn't cooperating.

It's the tallest church in the Nordics. Built in the 13th century, but has gone through many redesigns, renovations and changes over the centuries.

Trying out the macro lens on my new (used) phone.

Canada goldenrod is considered an invasive species here and spreads quickly in some places. I've never looked this close at the seeds, but seeing them it makes sense.

Today I tried the treadmill at the gym and got so hot in 15 mins that I had to stop and sit down. I must have looked a mess, a lady even came and checked if I was okay.

I wish we had crisp frosty weather instead of rain, so that I could run outdoors instead.

This will probably be the only fungus photo I take this season. I didn't have time during prime season and now most are gone or spoiled.

English fungi names aren't standardised, but something like yellow staghorn seems to be acceptable.

I went out the other day to photograph mushrooms, but they were all in dismal condition. Instead I got some photos of the forest in the interesting afternoon light.

Taken with an iPhone 4S. I still haven't sorted through the photos taken with a real camera.
A cliff wall that looks like sediments of sandstone and sand, but I think it was all solid sandstone of varying hardness.
