Regarding "The Discourse" that seems to have emerged, I think that anyone who watches this movie and concludes that Boravia is Israel is telling on themselves. Boravia, the fictional nation, is literally older than Israel (1939) and I felt was much more Russia-coded in the film.

Someone needs to do an explainer on “goyim”. Fact of the matter is it can be used as a derogatory slur, and it depends on tone and context. To say it’s like the n-word just betrays a deep ignorance which I think is pervasive about the term and its meaning.
