Very much agree, but with a year left on his contract and his major value for us under the PSR I guess the club might be looking to use that. My guess is we'd see a decision sooner than later to lock him down for future PSR if we were keeping.

There was a limited amount on the website but they went quite quickly! Apparently still a few left in some sizes in the club shop though.

It could work out in our favour really. Assuming they'll continue in the EFL cup and we drop out early + CL games, thats potential extra 8 games than us. Could see all but derby match seeing us as a 'rest' and put forward the second team. Tough games regardless, but better than start of season fresh

I had a little look ADS-B exchange, and there was a private flight landing around then too from London, so I guess that's more likely for a short hop back here to make the fixture breakfast.

No matter what, we need to remember that #TilTheEnd doesn't end on Saturday. Just starts up again in August in either league. As you say though, would be great to see this squad continue to grow together. Doomers saying we'll be straight back down, I think we have the potential to grow stronger.

We lost a lot of pace in the second half and never really picked it up again in extra time. Think there was a measure of not playing the game and instead managing the squad for if we went to penalties. Feel like a couple of extra subs 75th min could have won it for us. Different squad with Mundle.
