New #SAFC kit way better than the leaks showed it, but will wait to see in person to see if I buy it. Feel like they missed a trick. Spire, Railway, Alexandra and Wearmouth could have added different profiles across the stripes. Keel on its own looks like a snail went on a walk. Nod to Old/New too.

#SAFC order in at 8am on the button, no word all weekend, and then delayed today. Stock issues? Wish I'd gone down to the club shop now. Seems like XL and 2XL sponsored not available even for preorder on the store.

We're two years out now from the first major rounds of gaming industry lay offs that have only continued since. Summer Games Fest, and SoP, are the first ripples of indies taking a large step into the limelight and 'AAA studios' leaning a lot on sequels for sure bets. Expect this to be the norm imo.

State Of Play, it's time to bring back Lost Planet. Full reboot, lean into the 'Monster Hunter, but the future' element. Let's make it a reality.

Rewatching Still Game episode Tappin' and the interest rate they talk about in the episode is frustratingly wrong. The APR of 6% per week is 1742%. Way worse than even some of the worst payday loan companies. Better than 'break your legs' sure, but it's presented as really reasonable in the episode!

Wembley tickets just came through for #SAFC! I know it's not the club and is standard template for Wembley, but why do the tickets look like something you'd knock up in Publisher in 1995? Truly the peak of football with this design haha.

I feel the biggest challenge for both #SAFC and Sheff U on Saturday won't be each other, but VAR. In a league that's a lot more rough and tumble, everyone is going to have to be on their best behaviour. Imagine Ballard's header and agonising wait for them to confirm it. Or a classic 09 moment = Red

With pubs open until 1am tonight (for VE day), I can't help but see this an omen for #SAFC. If it's drowning our sorrows or celebrating a return to form, time will tell!

#SAFC Keep the faith, but they make it so hard to. We're running out of excuses now. Young Squad still, yes but you'd expect some pace to their game. The negative stop, pass, pass back to Pattinson, he can't distribute, pass back, pass back, concede is so predictable. 1 game = all research you need.

What's funny about #SAFC Mayenda's goal is he gets around three challenges with pure skill that looked far worse than what Trai was sent off for. Karma comes quick.

Curious if there is still a path to automatics for #SAFC. Best I can tell:
- Sunlun has to win all 5 matches (15 points)
- Leeds & Burnley no more than 6 points. Sheff U no more than 8 points. Which seems improbable... but all 3 play each other. 5 draws and we have 5 wins, we'd finish 1st even.

Looking at upcoming games, I'm most excited for Blue Prince, Monster Train 2, Slay the Spire 2, and Aethermancer (hopefully all on console release!). I've played most AAA releases this year, and all have left me feeling unfulfilled, but I think that mainly speaks to how strong the indie scene is.

Looking at upcoming games, I'm most excited for Blue Prince, Monster Train 2, Slay the Spire 2, and Aethermancer (hopefully all on console release!). I've played most AAA releases this year, and all have left me feeling unfulfilled, but I think that mainly speaks to how strong the indie scene is.

#Atomfall 's swarm mechanic is perhaps one of the most annoying I've encountered in gaming recently. Rest of game is great, but it's just a dumb part of that world that should have been cut.

I'm really enjoying my time with #assassinscreedshadows so far. It's the best refinement of the 'modern' AC formula so far. But I can't help hoping for a city based game again. Something densely packed like Syndicate. Mirage had elements of it, but something like 1920s New York would be interesting.

With daylight savings approaching, petition to start this saying: "Even an accurate clock is wrong twice a year.". Sometimes you gotta allow for not always being perfect in your life.

Excited to see what #Assassin'sCreedShadows brings after ultimately not clicking with Valhalla, but I'd kill (figuratively) for an IOI style AC game. Same place, different time periods. Different place, same time. Give me AC meets Hitman meets Dishonored and can do whatever with the main line games

Excited to see what #Assassin'sCreedShadows brings after ultimately not clicking with Valhalla, but I'd kill (figuratively) for an IOI style AC game. Same place, different time periods. Different place, same time. Give me AC meets Hitman meets Dishonored and can do whatever with the main line games
Was curious how many games a bairn can actually attend #SAFC w/ new 70% attendance rule if this year. W/ no late kickoffs = 78.26% home games. Could miss 1 non-evening game and keep their ticket. But if they are in Saturday league and can't make 12pm = 60.87%. If not for Sky, would be 78.26% still.
