It might even make gerrymanders counter-productive for the GOP because they've, in places, diluted their own strongholds to try and *just* cover Dem districts with a "safe" margin. But there's no way they can cover a ~20 pt margin swing safely.

Controlling state houses also gives you way more control over the election infrastructure, from everything from districting to ballot access. If you control the statehouse, you nip election fuckery in the bud. Dems aren’t gonna get better conditions than this. Better make it count 2/3
