Over on the hellsite, trans quiz contestants are being mocked and slandered. I'm so grateful that the actual quiz community is inclusive and won't stand for bigotry. The berks who make such comments about quiz show players on TV seem to not realise that quiz is a non-gendered activity...

Finally finishing season 3 of #TedLasso tonight, needed something easy. I have to admit though, I'm finding Juno Temple a bit distracting despite trying never to focus on body size. She's so skinny, she reminds one of those little Italian Greyhounds.

I've spent the weekend recovering from Friday's excursion to London to see the Manic Street Preachers (or 2/3 of them) talk about their new book in London. Lots of bed, lots of pain, but utterly worth it for a great evening and a bonus unexpected hug from James #manicstreetpreachers

I can't sleep because I'm too busy thinking about how bad I am at normal human things like talking to other humans.
I think this is my least favourite thing about being neurodiverse: I know I am bad at communication, but I find it nearly impossible to change my manner of speaking/expressing/being.

You know what's nice about being a fan of a band like Belle & Sebastian? When you comment on their social media asking a question, they usually reply. Then their tour promoter replies to emails, and tries to find out access information. For one fan. That's a good band, there.

A trans employee in LUSH once asked me if I needed help with choosing a shower gel. If I'm using TERF logic, this means that they were definitely trying to get into a shower with me. See how stupid that sounds? That's what happens when you put a bigoted spin on every interaction.

I just had to verify my age to look at a True Crime subreddit. This #OnlineSafetyAct is bloody ridiculous. I chose to have the algorithm estimate my age from webcam instead of showing them my ID because fuck that. I guess I really am nearly middle age when I can moan about the nanny state...

Living w/ a neurotypical partner is GREAT for me as I have to stick to his routine. Most nights I've eaten, taken meds & am in bed by midnight (even if I'm not sleeping). Last night we had separate plans. I ate on time, but forgot to take my meds until 3.30am. Whoops!

Living w/ a neurotypical partner is GREAT for me as I have to stick to his routine. Most nights I've eaten, taken meds & am in bed by midnight (even if I'm not sleeping). Last night we had separate plans. I ate on time, but forgot to take my meds until 3.30am. Whoops!

My gut instinct says I'm in favour of assisted dying, but then I look at how it's being misused in countries that already have it. Offered instead of treatment, offered for mental health problems that CAUSE suicidal thoughts... I just can't see how it can be introduced without that slippery slope...

At Pulp on Saturday, queuing for the disabled loos, a man behind me started moaning about the wait & demanded that the young women queuing in front of me tell him what their #disability was. This is shitty behaviour, not all disabilities are visible. Obvs some people take the piss, but never assume.

Useless "living well with pain" seminar was last week. Have I tried pacing? Getting enough sleep? Eating healthier? Of course I fucking have, I've been living with pain since I was ELEVEN YEARS OLD. I've tried everything. The NICE guidelines can kiss my crippled arse #chronicpain #hEDS

I am too unwell to go to the big DPAC protest in London tomorrow and am trying to write something instead but I can't even muster the energy for that. #Chronicfatigue is a horrible thing. I feel so wretched. At least I made it out of the house today, though, a whole 90 minutes.
