Most code we write becomes tech debt pretty soon if the application is growing

What about portions that are a bit boring? Do you lower through? Also, do you by any chance use an e-reader?

I am trying to reach my goal of reading 12 books each year.

Bro how

I'll start a new trend, software engineering is getting more difficult.

That is a pretty good point, I wonder how professional chefs look at people who go through cookbooks.

Having said that, everyone's going to be using LLMs in the future. So maybe good CEOs or people in upper management will balance it out.

So companies go down quickly without racking up high consultant bills.

If a CEO is asking Gemini to check what engineers are saying that company doesn't have a bright future ahead. Unless the CEO is also an engineer. Think about it if you really want your way you can make LLMs agree with you. It is easier when it comes to complex topics.

I am curious what makes tech valuable in your opinion?

I may be wrong but I think she has a cataract forming.

I saw a video on camels recently and they really are freaks of nature.

I am realising most of my points against LLMs aren't solid. I should rethink it
November 29, 2025 at 12:28 AM
You are right again, with LLMs at least one has the option to focus on stuff they want to learn. Plus not being able to create what are essentially CRUD applications (done to death already) from scratch isn't exactly a skill that is just memory.
November 29, 2025 at 12:24 AM
Yeah, that is a fair point going through code IS you don't know about is half the job.

I guess it is just that feeling the doom prepper in me thinks what if I don't have Claude or Gemini to lean on when I need it the most. I guess the key thing is not to get lazy and vet most outputs.
November 28, 2025 at 11:45 PM
Wouldn't it become more difficult to go through the code and pinpoint areas to improve if one relies heavily on LLMs? I am not sure about the quotas, but if one is working on a large project, they'd hit their quotas pretty quickly I'd imagine. Then again 100% with you on premature optimization.
November 28, 2025 at 11:28 PM
Oh makes sense then, yeah that would be redundant. I guess it would be a good project to learn how close work.
November 28, 2025 at 11:23 PM
This is brutal
