Patti LuPone is a legend and this show is so fun to watch during spooky season

I’m not done with the series, but Ep 7 is one of my favorite things I’ve seen on TV EVER. I’m a tarot girlie & I am a sucker for an unconventional timeline & explaining prior moments, but what a gorgeous and powerful episode of tv. I gasped at one of the final scenes, and may have shed some tears.

In the 3rd post, failed should be “veiled.” 😑

…that’s only interested in exploiting and extracting from the people in it, many of whom are decent people and super talented. Like, I know the mask was already off, and this was always an organization rooted in colonial harm and policing, but the mask is all the way off now innit.

There is so much evidence - and people continuing to make it - that diversity makes organizations better, including one like the military. And I just cringe for how far or irreparably the latest antics and focus are going to set everything back. Like maybe Army/DOD really is a toxic organization

And it seems too possible that the facial hair stuff is just going to be a thinly veiled excuse to unfairly target BIPOC men serving. And there’s nothing failed about the targeting of LGBTQ+ and especially trans soldiers.

I know there are so many awesome women continuing to do all the good work as they serve. And I just increasingly would never recommend military service to a woman, and might try to actively advise against it.

If you’re rich and not a coward, this is what you’d refer to as a “market opportunity” to dominate a media ecosystem that’s about to be covered in grotesque government slop. To be a pop of color in a sea of beige will be easier than ever. People will flock to it. You gotta be a little brave, though.
