“Wrong life cannot be lived rightly.”

I’m just like you
Just not as cool

I gazed a gazeless stare
At all the millions here
I must have died alone
A long, long time ago

Don’t you ever tame your demons
But always keep em on a leash
There’s momentum, this would be a good time for prospective leaders to seize the initiative and declare their intent. Plant the flag and call the banners. I’m seeing them do a lot of empty posturing that they walk back as soon as it looks like the temperature might start to rise

Agreed. No clear vision on the left—hard to rally people around a flag that keeps moving.

The right has a clear vision. It’s monstrous, but it’s clear, so it attracts the true believers and also the people who don’t really know what’s going on but see everyone else circling up.

I have to think that the Venn diagram of Americans who are illiterate or functionally illiterate and Americans who will vote against their own socio-economic well-being no matter what is pretty much just a circle.

Every time I start talking about how Monsanto (or Bayer or whatever name they want to hide behind now) is one of the purest forms of evil the world has ever known people start wanting to talk about chemtrails or some other stupid conspiracy theory and NO GODDAMNIT WE ARE NOT THE SAME, THIS IS REAL

We don’t need a bigger military. We need a civilian work corps to update existing infrastructure and build new infrastructure, new houses, new towns, new cities. We need jobs, we need healthcare, we need houses.

Gonna add some more people to the list of “undesirables” and death camps don’t come cheap.

I mean, technically they do when they’re just tents and razor wire.

But the bribes and the kickbacks aren’t gonna pay for themselves!

Because predictions markets are how we determine reality now.

Not joking, that’s their pitch.

Big Prohibition vibes. Alcohol is bad for you, everyone knows alcohol is bad for you, but when you try to take it away it turns out that, deep down, most people don’t really care that it’s bad and resent you for taking it away

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THOSE BILLIONAIRES BEHIND THE CURTAIN!

One rich man was so determined not to go to prison for all of the vile things he’d done that he bought himself a social media platform and destroyed his country.

There’s a good story in there, just not a believable one. Because people aren’t stupid enough to let that happen in real life.

Right? Oh
