So far so good with no buy 2025. I've only purchased necessities and a couple of gifts. I'm going on vacation next month, so I will bless another country with my hard earned money. I'm also being more diligent about where I buy as well. It takes time, but it's worth it.

In 'what I can control' news. I spent the day potting starters for my food garden and I harvested 2 small buckets of olives from my tree. I'm teaching myself how to brine and preserve them. They will soak in fresh water for 3 days and then they will soak in brine (salt water) for 3 months.

I was in the Grand Canyon for the last few days, so I've been spending time catching up. I put on the Golden Globes to catch Nikki Glazer as this year's host. She did great, but the real moment of the show belonged to Karla Sofía Gascón. She had me in tears.

Anyone who is married and has taken their spouse's last name needs to get a certified copy of their marriage certificates unless they have a state ID and passport with the same last name if they want to vote in the next election.
