I wonder if the committee doesn’t really count Texas A&M as a loss either… refs had to miss the most egregious hold of the season for the Aggies to get the go-ahead touchdown on 4th and long with 30 seconds left.

With backfield committees becoming more ubiquitous, there should probably be a new award for the whole unit, like the Joe Moore Award.

I may speak for all civilians when I say that nobody outside of the military community cares about medals etiquette and Hegseth looks like an obnoxious little hall monitor drunk on perceived power (and also gin).

There was also a fairly coherent (by today’s standards) campaign to build the case for the war back in 2001-2003, even though it was a farce.
