Was checking Diablo 2 remake for level inspiration and kept going until level 91 lol. Worth it tho, the game is awesome and means a lot to me that it's going well, took a lot of notes!

Netherlords was mostly bug fixes... latest build finally running!

Collision was killing my level design workflow, so I built a tool to fix it! 📦

New Modeling Tools are great for prototyping, but auto collisions are pretty messy for interiors...

Netherlords upgrade system taking shape!

Brute force, dark magic, or pure speed. Each card permanently changes your character on level up.

Thinking about going deck building roguelike...

Added abilities to dodge roll and run!

Felt like we needed more mobility because now the enemies have HitStun, it is insanely powerful if you have the same move speed as them 😂

This combat is finally hitting! (pun intended)

After so long wrestling with UE5's Gameplay Ability System, it's starting to click. Complex setup, but could never imagine such cleanliness..

Hit stun / cancel working beautifully 🤘

Finally got to do the Netherlords main menu, I wanted to try something like Hades 2's since the first time I saw it.

Not easy to have to do everything but I think it is looking pretty fucking cool!

Been heads down for a while. Finally got the enemy spawner working properly and combat is starting to feel right. Oh yeah, and music!

A few tweaks to the landscape and sky.

Finally had time to dive deeper into World Partition. It is pretty fucking cool! Those pink highlights show it loading/unloading world in real-time.

Last month I have been working on how to make the game FUN, not many visual changes...
Good news is that I attended Brasil Game Show and met with publishers, marketing agencies, and fellow devs. Feels that I'm on the right path with my plans.

Nano Banana is awesome, but I had to lean on GPT-5 and Photoshop to get the result I needed to really show the core aspects of the game.

Settled on Netherlords as the name... feels right, and honestly I don’t have time to overthink it.

Spent the whole day chasing a bug, only to find out it was just a bad redirect in C++🤦‍♂️. At least I learned you can debug pretty much anything with Visual Studio.

After 20 years, I finally sub to the official Ultima Online OSI. The new client has nice stuff, but also serious problems... Game overall still has it's soul, though it used to be WAY more punishing.

Monster Hunter Wilds is impressive, but after the first chapter, I got bored. It doesn’t feel like hunting—just mindless slaying
Still fun, but kind of soulless..

Funny enough, Monster Hunter 1 looks more interesting. There’s a quest to carry an egg, and that seems awesome

Oh God, I’m so fed up with Cursor right now... It was great at first, but as the project grew in complexity, all the fun turned into a nightmare. It got slow, remaking systems, confused, and duplicating stuff. It might be good for a quick start, but after that, I’d rather just learn .js myself.

Two days ago, I knew nothing about JavaScript. Now, I have a working online game with database and player authentication.

My favorite part? The login screen. DALLE created the logo, Cursor handled the HTML/CSS, and despite not specifying colors, the theme came together perfectly. I love it. 🧡

I always wanted a game server as a kid, got one but don’t really know what to do with it... For a start, I got MMO Kaetram there. My inner child is thrilled, but even at 12, I’d have found it too bright and cheerful for my taste. Mayber MU Online or perhaps making something from scratch with Cursor?
