I love Pete, but I have serious doubts that a ticket including a gay man can get elected in the USA in 2028. We are a country full of bigoted religious dickheads.
Sad that we're still here, but we have to be pragmatic about this. It's too important to take a chance.

I feel the same way, I would love to see Pete in office, but this bigoted, homophobic, misogynistic, racist country who wouldn’t elect a black woman would definitely not vote for him. So damn sad.
