It’s weird how making friendly noises in the direction of socialism makes people forget that he’s a rich old ass white dude, like all the other rich old ass white dudes currently oppressing us, and that he’s just as inclined towards rich old ass white dude class solidarity as any other.

I’ve been a huge Bernie fan since before he ever ran for President and I still respect him but if he can’t bring himself to ask for Chuck to step down, he isn’t being any better than the 8 senators who voted for this. I won’t put any politician on a pedestal.
