Sam spent the day at the vet; she seemed to be having issues urinating, so I wanted to get her checked out. They gave her gabapentin because she's grown to really hate the vet's office, and now she's wide eyed, a little unsteady, and trying to settle in to ride it out

I've got a sore throat from sinus/allergy issues, so what's my strategy? Chili infused naan with spicy mango pickles to make it burn as well as ache.
I'm not sure if I'm chasing endorphins, trying to confuse my discomfort, or something else.

Any time I vacuum I miss my cat Lily, gone just over a year at 17. She'd look at the machine, decide it had nothing to do with her, and go back to sleep every time while the other cats slunk away.

One thing I don't understand about martial arts/crime revenge stories is the mook who watches the anti-hero take out 20 of their colleagues but still decide, "Hey, I have a serious shot of taking this revenant out all by myself". There should be a lot more running away.
