I need the croissant bread recipe, please! I’m tired of throwing away half of my starter each week with discard but I can’t always keep up with good recipes!

If I hear one more politician talking about how great and successful this program is…I swear to the heavens, it is not. Hoping some of our state board of ed folks or legislators will solicit some feedback from further out in the field than the Lansing area because I have notes. So. Many. Notes.

I haven’t lost one yet but last year alone I channeled 22 entire days - ENTIRE DAYS - to one teacher who, by the end of said year, could finally control her classroom a little. This year we are finally moving to the “year 1 mentoring map” as part of my 4 year coaching cycle for new teachers.

Of the TOT teachers I’ve been paired with only one seemed emotionally and mentally prepared for the task of teaching kids. All have proved coachable but what about the ISD’s that don’t have a Dave Johnson to undo what these programs are sending teaching candidates out to do?
