Well…..I’m really happy with the hair at least. Sword came out a little better than expected, and I think I did ok with the yellow on the arms. I feel like I learned a lot with this one.

Like at least once a year I’ll rewatch the first few episodes of Inuyasha and think “Ok, maybe this time it will click for me,” and it never does. I don’t know why. I love fantasy, folklore, and pretty much everything else Rumiko Takahashi has ever done. But I just can’t do Inuyasha.

So “Sing 2” is on the tv at work, and the performance that appears to cap the movie is of “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” One line from that song is “carry cross of my shame,” which implies that the anthropomorphic animals of the Sing Universe know of and believe in Jesus.

One of my goals for next year is to sit down and do a lot more painting so I can really improve. It’s been months since I touched my Sailor Scout Sororitas project. The outer senshi don’t even have a speck of paint on them!
